SeanG > Ok, I know this "planet" thing has been used a lot on here lately. I am a little behind the times I guess. But, I really wanted to try it out myself.
I tried it on several photos before deciding that I liked this one the best. I then took it a step further with some blending modes in CS.
Thank you to those of you who posted the link to tell us all how to do this. It's very fun to do!
The original photo used to create this planet is a photo I took at Stonehenge a few years back.
SeanG > Artistic panoramic view of downtown Orlando. Orlando's skyline sits along the edges of beautiful Lake Eola. The early morning sunrise made for some very nice reflections.
SeanG > Just some ropes lying on the boat deck. I was trying to get a cool depth of field shot with this one.
SeanG > Sunset after a storm on Bowman's Beach at Sanibel Island
SeanG > Same flower as before, but cropping and special effects have been applied. I just wanted it to stand out a bit more.
SeanG > I noticed this large grasshopper outside the front window on our banana tree. So, I decided to snap a few shots of him with the zoom lens through the window so I didn't scare him away. They are very interesting and colorful.
SeanG > "Hannah & Phoebe"

I usually keep portraits separate from the daily category, but I thought this one deserved to be seen. I was taking pictures for some family last weekend and this one turned out to be a favorite. I loved the way it came out. The colors all work together nicely. Thanks for looking!
SeanG > Red Shouldered Hawk outside my front door. I looked out the window to see this beautiful hawk perched upon the lightpole that's at the edge of my lawn & the street. It's nice when you don't have to go very far to catch a nice bird shot.
SeanG > Black Racer snake peering out of a Sago palm...

This makes an excellent background on your monitor if you like snakes, trust me...I have it on my screen right now. It looks like the snake is coming out at you.
